The Beach House Flamingo is a 5 bedroom 4 bath, beachfront home centered on the most prestigious, pristine White Sand Beach on Costa Rica’s North Pacific Coast. “Playa Blanca” (white beach) is the original name of Flamingo Beach. Being on the Center of this Beach is what makes our location so special and why the house deserves the name Casa Playa Blanca, the "Beach House Flamingo". Wake up to the sound of sea, pour yourself a fresh cup of Costa Rican coffee, sit on the deck and watch the kids play on the beach or in the pool. In the evening, there is no better location anywhere to watch the sunset than on the same deck. Although many rentals in the area claim to be on or in Playa Flamingo, most are not. There is only ONE Flamingo Beach and we are on the center of it! Our housekeeper, who is also an incredible cook, is included with the rental. Her own menu at the house includes everything from a variety of local Costa Rican dishes and North American favorites to different ways of grilling the fish you caught that day on our BBQ. She’s also happy to teach you how to make fresh homemade tortillas! You decide what you want from the menu and she will go to the store with you or on her own and get what she needs to make what you want. All you pay for are the groceries. He is happy to cut a coconut from one of our palm trees and prepare it for you to enjoy. Our night watchman assures you of a good night sleep. Seeing as this is a somewhat boring position in our neighborhood and Flamingo has its own security force, he doubles as a turtle watchman and upon request, will wake you up if they come to nest in front of the Beach House. His specialty however is building bon fires. Any night that you prefer, just say “Fugata” and grab your marshmallows, he’ll get a good one going. He is also our evening coconut picker. We are located on the center of Flamingo Beach, about 1/4 mile down the beach from the town of Flamingo. In Flamingo you can find groceries, banking and ATM’s for U.S.dollars or Colones (local currency), pharmacy, botiques, restaurants, bars, night life, casino and disco. Flamingo is also the departure point for all ocean activities.
